The virtual portfolio-level performance returns shown are hypothetical, based on historic pricing information and the parameters input by you. Hypothetical performance is for illustrative purposes only and is not a guarantee of future results. Actual performance returns will vary
Any actual investments made by you, whether based on your virtual portfolio or not, are not federally or FDIC insured and are not deposits or obligations of, or guaranteed by, any financial institution. Performance for periods longer than one year is annualized based on the number of years. Performance for periods less than one year is cumulative, based on the number of days between the start and end dates. Performance periods displayed on the visual graph are cumulative based on the number of days between the start and end dates.
For ETFs, the standardized returns reflect performance, both at market price and NAV price, without adjusting for the effects of taxation or brokerage commissions. These returns are adjusted to reflect all ongoing ETF expenses and assume reinvestment of dividends and capital gains. If adjusted, the effects of taxation would reduce the performance quoted. All dividends and capital gains are assumed to be reinvested. The charges and expenses used in the standardized returns are obtained from the most recent prospectus and/or shareholder report available.
The tool assumes that there is no rebalancing taking place during the time period input by you. The tool does not take into account taxes for any scenario.
S&P 500 Index is a market capitalization-weighted index of 500 common stocks chosen for market size, liquidity, and industry group representation to represent U.S. equity performance. The S&P 500 is used as a market proxy for comparison purposes in all scenarios in the Virtual Portfolio.
